We spent 2 weeks in July 2022 in this very comfortable villa. We have chosen it because of the view beautifull sun set in the mountains) and the privacy (no view from outside and very quiet area). We were not disappointed and we have been very surprised by the comfort of the villa: very large terrasse, beautiful swimming pool, large table outside for breakfast and lunch, comfortable outside sofa where we spent nice evening playing games provided, enough glasses, plates and other equipment to cook, water tank, wifi, very efficient air conditioning, 3 tv, quality bed equipment and towels (hotel quality). It was really relaxing. It is about 15 min drive from Kalkan (main city in the area). We get used quickly to the mountain roads. There is only few meters where the road is a bit narrow. You need to deserve to be in a nice and quite area. There is a village at 2 minutes drive (Uzumlu) where you can find basic stuff. I used to go to Kalkan every couple of days to get all we need. Finally, I wanted to add that we were lucky to get Ridvan as contact point. He was available and responsive before and during our holidays to answer ALL our questions and making sure we were satisfied. Here are some examples of services he provided: organize the transfer in very comfortable can from Antalya Airport to the villa, renting car available at the villa for us, first shopping on arrival, first cash exchange, housekeeping included after a week, water tank replaced when empy, trash bin empty and swmming pool cleaning everyday, ... Ridvan made our holidays really nice and smooth.
11 of us stayed at Villa Bottecine (4 adults and 7 teenagers) for 10 nights and had a fabulous time. The villa was clean and spacious and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The a/c worked well in all bedrooms and in the kitchen/living room, there was an abundance of space both inside and out and the swimming pool is a great size. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a good outside bbq which we used on a few occasions. There is plenty of dining space inside and out as well as plenty of lounging space. The owner visited early every morning to service the pool and empty the bin and also delivered swimming pool towels to us on the first morning. The WiFi worked well and there is a good sized TV which the teenagers used to watch Netflix on a quiet evening. The view from the outside terrace is beautiful. The villa is up a hill and it is a 20 to 25 walk into the centre of Kalkan but a taxi back up at the end of the evening was not expensive. Taxis were readily available from the town centre. We actually appreciated the distance from town and being up a hill because it was a little cooler and also helped us to keep our teenagers under control! There are a few local shops and a supermarket about 8 minutes down the hill which is handy. It’s a hot walk in August but really not a problem. A car is recommended for grocery shopping purposes and if you want to leave Kalkan. There is lots to do in the vicinity - we enjoyed Saklıkent Kanyon, Patara Beach and a boat trip to see the sunken city and swim. We had a lovely time in the villa. No one had any grumbles. There is nothing that we would change and we would thoroughly recommend it.
We had a lovely time staying a week in Villa Poyraz. The villa is extremely comfortable and spacious and is a fantastic place for a holiday. The sea views and the pool are amazing. The location is very peaceful and it is only a short taxi ride to the centre of Kalkan. Rudi made our stay most comfortable and was always on hand for information.
This will be my briefest review, as I’ve run out of superlatives, admittedly for my four previous reviews for Villa Rudi. So for our fifth rental with Rudi we stayed in Villa Zeybek Evi. Nothing changes though with the same five star level of accommodation and the same friendly attention from Rudi. As always, from airport pick up to return, everything is seamless. Nothing is too much trouble for Rudi, even when you lock yourself out! So total relaxation in the beautiful hills around Islamlar, with Kalkan only an easy 20 minute drive, Kas another half hour is an absolutely stunning drive, and other attractions easily reachable. And then home to Villa Zeybek which really is just stunning, spacious and spotless. I really cannot recommend highly enough.
We traveled as Husband and Wife plus my Mum for her 90th Birthday.The Villa is everything it promised and so much more. Exceptionally clean with lovely rooms and towels provided even for around the pool. We mainly catered ourselves and the Kitchen is well prepared for this. The pool is unheated and took a few mins to get into but it was lovely all the same. Rudi's Family live close by and it was great to see and hear all the chickens and Sheep/Goats and their bells. The call to Prayer was magical to hear and was not at all intrusive. We got water from the Mountain Spring in the Village which was amazing and all the locals fill up as well. All communication with Rudi was perfect and he answered all my questions before and during our stay with nothing too much trouble. The views from the Villa were incredible over Kalkan Bay and Mouse and Snake Islands. Temperatures were late 20's to low 30's everyday and we came back to UK with freezing temperatures which was a shock. Rudi you have an amazing Villa and beautiful Family and we really hope we can come back at some point.
The minute we walked in to this house we were blown away, a proper WOW moment! Never before has a holiday house exceeded our expectations so much, this house is totally undersold. The whole back of house is glassed looking out over the beautiful Kalkan Bay, am amazing sight to behold every morning. We had to literally punch ourselves and never got bored of it. The living area was incredible, all the bedrooms were great and the outside living area was excellent. Oh, and by the way it has an indoor pool as well as the outside one in the photos. There’s some gym equipment downstairs for those that that want to keep fit and a well equipped kitchen, outside dining area, BBQ, prinks area and off road parking. Best house we have ever stayed in and will be making our reservation for next year ASAP.
