Apparently, there are three things that create the perfect love nest…..panoramic views, a private pool and complete seclusion and Salkim Evi has all of the above and more. The more being that it is stunningly designed, secluded yet within a 10 minute walk of the village of Islamlar and it is only a 20 minute drive to cosmopolitan Kalkan; even romantic trysts can be enhanced by cocktails and a starlit dinner at the sea’s edge!

Salkim Evi has been constructed from wood and stone with huge expanses of glass allowing views from the bedroom and bathroom, and most especially from the huge Jacuzzi bath, over the treetops and the valley towards the long strip of beach at Patara.  

The interior is light and bright, outdoors there’s a spacious terrace around the private infinity pool; to one side are the high craggy rocks of the Taurus Mountain range and then the valley which drops away to the distant Patara beach view. Set beside the pool is a raised deck area, shaded by a Thai style grass roof – it is a tree house for adults! - the perfect place to curl up with a book. We think this is the definitive indoor/outdoor living; every corner revelling in the superb views and catching the soft breeze rentals in islamlar.

GROUND FLOOR

One room living – massive bedroom with glass walls to two sides, sitting area and through to bathroom with jacuzzi bath set into the floor and with “the view”, shower room/wc. Dressing area. A small summer kitchen is located in a separate building on the terrace with a shady dining area.

FACILITIES

Mini hob/oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, water cooler . Iron & ironing board (on request from owner), safe and hairdryer. TV/DVD,  wi-fi internet access (intermittent). Air Conditioning throughout.

Swimming Pool

Private pool  5.3 x 3.5 metres, Constant depth of 1.40 metres. Pool towels provided.

Beaches

The sea and beach clubs in Kalkan town are approximately a 20 minute drive from the villa. Both Kaputaş beach and Patara beach are approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Islamlar.

Shops

There is a small grocery market in Islamlar serving essential items and a handful of restaurants within walking distance of the villa. Kalkan town, a 20 minute drive, offers larger supermarkets and a weekly fruit and vegetable market. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Kalkan town centre.

Speacial booking conditions

In order to book the apartment, we require a non-refundable deposit of 25%. The balance will be payable within 8 weeks of arrival but we are prepared to allow some flexibility on this for late bookings.

If the balance is not paid on the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-advertise the dates, Villa Salkım Evi.

A damage deposit of £200 is required upon arrival, Subject to no damage to the property, this will be returned to you upon your departure, Rudi Travel.
