E-Visa to Turkey

As of 10th April 2014 sticker and stamp-type visas at airport customs in Turkey will no longer be issued. So no more queuing at the airport to pay your £10.

Instead foreign citizens will need to obtain their visa from the Turkish Consulates in their country or electronically on evisa.gov.tr  (Just by entering the required information and making payment by credit card)

You should apply for your e-Visa at least 24 hours before your departure. However you are advised to make an application at least one week before your arrival.
